Host, Doug Kaufmann, a Vietnam Veteran, served in the Medical Corps attached to the Seventh Marine Division. Upon return to the USA in 1971, he became ill. After visiting many physicians in hopes of recapturing his health, he learned that he had become infected with a fungus. After spending 32 years in research and clinical nutrition, Kaufmann realized that many common maladies and diseases that Americans suffer from today, although unbeknownst to medical doctors, also have fungal root causes. His award winning show, inspired by the grace of God manifesting in his recovery, will captivate the audience. Understanding the cause of any medical condition is of the utmost importance.
